Well, here I am, writing my first blog post. I never thought I would actually be using it to write, it was only supposed to be to check my mama's blog easier. This could be a pretty cool thing, although I'm not sure who wants to read my random blabbering. I'm not quite sure what I should be writing on here so I guess I can start with today.
Our property has been nominated for Most Improved Property of the Year for 2009 for the APEX Awards. We have known for a couple of months but the actual awards ceremony is mid February. We had a set of questions we had to answer for the judges to read all about our property and how it has been improved over the year. Each property is also judged in person. Today I was the "lucky" one who got to give the tour to the judge and answer all the questions. Everyone knows I love to talk and sometimes just won't shut up, but this was a little nerve-racking because the way the entire property and staff was being judged was up to me and how well I did. Ahhhhh! It wasn't too bad, but we will have to wait a few more weeks before we know who the winner will be. It is coming up pretty quick, and I still need a dress......
Because I was the "lucky" one who had the pleasure of touring the APEX judge I was told I didn't have to come into work tomorrow morning until 10! Can you say SLEEP IN?!?! I'm so excited!
Well, I think this is probably enough for my first post, too much more would probably cause anyone reading to fall asleep! ;) Good night!
